Keto-Friendly Chocolate Flan

Check out this amazing keto-friendly chocolate flan recipe created by @ketowith_jess.

Keto friendly Choco Flan

Last week @proteinmilkshake asked if I would like to do another collaboration with them and you know I had to say yes! I love the challenge and cooking/baking has really been a positive outlet for me these last couple of months (it’s what keeps me sane )
I used half to make this cake and the rest in a shake. Delicious both ways.

For the flan, I used my keto sis’s recipe. So make sure to go to @asantanarn page for her amazing flan recipe.

For the chocolate cake I used:
1 cup of almond flour
1 serving Protein Milkshake
1/3 cup of @lakanto classic sweetener
1/2 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp of baking powder
4 tbsp of butter (melted)
3 large eggs
1/3 cup of sour cream
2 tsp of vanilla

To make cake:
Mix all the dry ingredients together. Then add in all the wet ingredients and mix everything until combined. Pour into a pan of choice and bake at 350 for 15 mins. Once cool, let it sit overnight in the fridge along with the flan.

I cut along both the flan and cake edges to loosen them up. Then I place the cake on top of the flan. I then grabbed a plate and placed it on top of the cake, held it tight and flipped it over.
**Optional**
I made a second batch of @asantanarn caramel spice and pour it over the top. I then tried to drizzle some chocolate on top as well but that didn’t go to well 🤷🏻‍♀️ .

Overall, this cake out amazing!!!
I would definitely recommend this protein powder. It has really clean ingredients, 22g of protein, only 120 calories and 4 NC per serving!
